Euro Subcommittee
The Bank of England has responsibility under the National Changeover Plan for co-ordinating planning in the wholesale financial markets. To assist this, the Bank has established the City Euro Group ("CEG") with representation, including the London Money Market Association, across the City.
The CEG serves as a communication channel, both for the Bank to inform the wider market about the developing preparations, and for its members to identify to the Bank any issues, questions or areas for further work.
The Euro subcommittee takes responsibility for considering the impact of proposals and developments relating to Euro preparations on members of the London Money Market Association.
